The settings screen can be accessed by pressing the button found at the bottom left corner of any File List screen, as well as on the application's home screen. The available settings are grouped into categories. Note that some settings only appear if certain extensions have been bought.

File Manager

These settings affect all File List screens.

• Sort files by - specifies which criteria is used to sort files in a File List.
• Show hidden files - activate this to see hidden files when File Lists are displayed (hidden files are files which name starts with a dot).
• Show file extensions - activate this to show file extensions.
• Icons reflect content - if active, each file will be represented by a custom icon. This icon will be generated using the file's content. This only works for certain type of files, other files will still have generic icons.
• Auto open folder's first file - when active, the first file in a folder will be automatically opened in the Detail View when the folder is opened in the File List view.

File View

• Slideshow interval - represents the time each document will be displayed when a slideshow is taking place.
• Random slideshow - when a slideshow is in progress, this determines if the next file to display is randomly selected (enabled) or selected according to the normal file list sorting order (disabled).
• Lock orientation - if active, the screen auto rotating feature will be deactivated while a File View is visible.
• Restore picture position - when active, the picture viewer will restore the last zoom level and view offset when opening a picture file.
• Animated audio playback - if active, an animation will be displayed when audio files are played.
• Audio starts slideshow - if active, a slideshow will start each time an audio file starts playing. When the end of an audio file is reached during a slideshow, the next file will be played or shown automatically. You can use this feature to use folders as playlists.
• Restore audio position - activate this if you want the audio player to restore the last playback position when opening an audio file.
• Text file encoding - specifies the encoding to use when text files are opened in the text viewer.
• Preferred font - specifies the font to use when files are opened in the text viewer.
• Preferred font size - specifies the font size to use when files are opened in the text viewer.
• Swipe to change file - defines if a swiping gesture can be used to navigate between files (if active, swiping to the left will show the next file and swiping to the right the previous file). This setting can be set for different types of files.

Wireless Drive

• Enabled - activate this to allow wireless file transfers between your and other devices. For security reasons, you might want to deactivate this setting to prevent access to your (especially if you did not set a password).
• Require password - activate this to protect the access to your files from a remote device. If you plan to use this application while your is connected to a public WiFi network, it is highly recommended you activate this setting.
• User name - if the "Require password" setting is active, this is the user name that will have to be given when accessing this from a remote device.
• Password - if the "Require password" setting is active, this is the password that will have to be given when accessing this from a remote device.

Application

• Lock code - lets you set a code that will be asked when this application becomes active. The "Ask for code" setting lets you specify when the code is asked. Do not forget this code, or you will have to reinstall this application (and loose all data stored in this application).
• Protected files lock code - lets you set a code that will be asked when opening protected files and folders. The "Ask for code" setting lets you specify when the code is asked. If no code is set, protected files will still be unavailable in iTunes while your is passcode locked. You can set the Passcode Lock in the General section of the Settings application.
• Ask for code - specifies how long the application can stay inactive before lock codes are asked. Shorter times provide higher security.
• Restore session - when active, the last file(s) you were viewing will be reopened automatically every time the application restarts (note that the last viewed file(s) will still sometimes be visible when returning to this application, as restarts don't occur if the app is in the background).
• Layout - specifies if one file Detail View is shown (along with a File List view in landscape mode) or if two views containing either a File List or a Detail View are shown.
• Sleep enabled - when active, your 's screen will auto lock and go into sleep mode after some time (this time interval can be set in the Settings application).
• Delete cached file info - use this to erase cached files from remote servers and unzipped files and also to remove any information associated with files (as their last viewing position).
• Create sample files - copies sample files in the "Local files" of the application (currently, only the Welcome.html file is copied).
• Send usage info - if active, usage feedback will be sent back to us. The information we receive will be used anonymously to help us improve the application.
• Version - the current version of the application.
